ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The 2018 Melbourne Violin Competition is Australia’s newest violin competition, supporting violinists, the art culture of Melbourne and promoting the practice and performance of Solo Bach.
The competition has no citizen or age restriction and will be held in four stages in 2018.

Three finalists will each perform a complete Solo Sonata or Partita by J.S Bach on the 21/10/2018 to an audience of sixty guests, who will comprise mainly of guest voters.
Each will vote anonymously for their favourite performance.
The finalist with the most votes will become the winner of the 2018 Melbourne Violin Competition.
